THE COCKLE SHELL

COCKLE SHELL (Cardiidae) is an edible marine bivalve mollusc.  Living on Sandy, sheltered beaches throughout the world.  The distinctive rounded shells are bilaterally symmetrical and are heart-shaped when views from the end.  Numerous radials, evenly shaped ribs, are features of the shell.
